Vertical take-off drones
They take off and land like a helicopter, then fly like a plane to stay airborne for longer.
Platform
Drones, charging stations, fixed sensors, communication links and software: everything is designed to work together, without interruption, far from cities and networks.
They take off and land like a helicopter, then fly like a plane to stay airborne for longer.
Centimeter-precise guided landing, shaded and ventilated charging, protected from dust and rain.
Solar-powered thermal cameras covering access points and key chokepoints.
Long-range radio between base and drones, mobile network where available, satellite as an option.
Live map, status of every drone and station, alerts and a complete log, on computer or tablet.
The handover
01
The software continuously calculates the energy each drone needs to return, accounting for wind and heat.
02
The replacement leaves the base early enough to arrive before the first drone has to leave.
03
The two drones cross paths at different altitudes. The sector is never empty.
04
The drone lands on its station by itself and is ready again for the next handover.
Values marked “target” will be confirmed during our flight tests.
| Endurance per drone | Target: 90 min |
|---|---|
| Charging time | Target: 60 min |
| Operating radius around a base | [To be confirmed] |
| Sensors | Visible camera with optical zoom, thermal camera |
| Links | Long-range radio; 4G/5G where available; satellite as an option |
| Base power | Solar panels and stationary batteries |
| Log | Time-stamped, archived flights, images and alerts |
| Deployment | Fixed base or vehicle-mounted mobile base |
A drone never leaves the authorized perimeter.
Low battery, malfunction or dangerous weather: the drone returns on its own.
Fail-safe behavior defined and tested for every scenario.
At any time, a human can take over or stop a flight.
